Your first ride in Taipei
Start the game
Wait for the opening menu to load, then choose Start Game. Click inside the game to give it keyboard and mouse focus.
Choose your character
Open Character from the main menu and choose who you want to play before heading into the city.
Adjust your settings
Use Settings to adjust graphics, sound and camera sensitivity. Lower graphics quality if the game stutters.

Open Controls in the game menu for the current keyboard, gamepad and touch bindings. The guide below covers the basics.

On a computer, click the game first. The original game’s Controls menu is the reference for all bindings and device-specific actions.

Gamepads and touch controls are also supported by the original game. On touch screens, use the left joystick to move and swipe the right side to look around. Available controls follow the current game version.
A browser journey through Taipei
Explore the city from street level, ride through familiar Taipei locations, or stop and look around. Ximending, night markets and Taipei 101 give the journey a local setting. The game is a fictional open world; in-game brands are parodies, and the streets are not a real-world navigation guide.
Before you play
Do I need to sign in or download anything?
No. Taipei GTA opens directly in the browser without a website account or an installation. An internet connection is needed to load the game and its assets.
Can I play on a phone or tablet?
The original game includes touch controls. Performance depends on your device, browser and graphics settings. If it feels slow, lower the graphics quality in Settings; a computer may provide a smoother experience.
Which languages are available?
This website and its guide are available in Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese, Japanese, Korean and English. The embedded original game currently provides Chinese and English menu options; change those in its own Settings menu.
What if the game stays blank or does not respond?
Allow time for the 3D assets to load, check your connection and make sure your browser supports WebGL. Click the game to focus it. You can also choose Open game to launch the original in a new tab, which may help when embedded content is restricted.
Where does the game run?
The playable game is embedded from taipei-gta.vercel.app. Its code, assets, saves and availability are managed by the original project. Website language changes the guide, rather than translating the original game itself.
